A wooden model of the cutter launched in Saint Malo in 1812 by the famous corsair Robert Surcouf with the main objective of attacking and catching enemy ships of commerce of France. His actions and his legacy towards the city of Saint Malo make the Renard a symbol of the strong French naval identity.
Le Renard modeling kit contains high precision laser-cut board parts, fine woods, brass, cast iron and fabric.
Its system of assembly by means of false keel and frames about its construction to the one of the real ship. For the assembly you will be able to follow the complete full colour instructions step-by-step.
All the explanations referring to hoisting and rigging are included in greater format for a simple and pleasant assembly.
In addition to all the parts that the model needs (sails, threads, metal parts...), it includes a complete set of colour instructions and a stand for supporting the model with a metal plate.
