Crackle Medium

Waterbased medium which is used between two coats of paint to create a weathered effect, or as a final coat to create a transparent crackle surface.

Put the medium with a brush or an airbrush.  

After drying, spread the paint to crackle. When dry to the touch, moisten the area to be worked with a brush. Water contact produces a chemical reaction to peel off your paint and reveal the color underside. This process can be repeated as often as necessary. To accentuate the effect, use a scraper and for more subtle scratches, a brush.
