Revell and Prince August Paints for Models and Figures

Historical precision or fancy, the painting is an important step in the finalisation and personnalisation of any model.  

A beautiful paint finish is conditioned by the quality of the support, mainly the hull. It must be perfectly smooth before the application of an enamel or acrylic paint. It will be necessary to plug the interstices of the wood with putty and sand rigorously to reach the desired finish.  

The application of the paint can be done using brushes like spalters for large surfaces or airbrushes. Enamel paints should be diluted with lighter fluid (flammable) and the special acrylics should be diluted with the solvent of the brand.   

All Prince August Acrylics Air are miscible with each other. The very wide range is thus expandable according to your imagination. The brightness can be modified thanks to the brilliant or metallic mediums. All accessories are cleaned with water.   

Polyurethane acrylics offer excellent performance. They combine an extra fine matte finish, hardness and optimum resistance. They are resistant to oils, white spirit and superficial rubbings with alcohol.
