The story goes that the ship and the souls of its captives and crew are condemned to wander the oceans for eternity
without ever touching land, all through the fault of its captain. 
Sailing into fatal waters is a fateful decision. 
The legend has inspired many playwrights, poets, musicians and painters. 
‘The Flying Dutchman has also become a popular feature of Pirates of the Caribbean,
 a franchise in which the ship is known as the ‘Dutchman’ and sails under the command of fictional captain Davy Jones.

 The wooden parts of the model are pre-cut by laser for a precise fit. The fittings supplied are highly detailed and realistic.

An opening in the side of the hull allows you to view the interior of the ship in great detail.
