H.M.S. LADY NELSON - CUTTER 1803
The H.M.S. Lady Nelson is a typical British cutter of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
The cutter was a British ship designed for racing and speed, with a very large sail area for her size.
It was armed with 12 3-pounder cannons and around ten couleuvrines.
The model has been specially designed to introduce beginners to building a wooden model ship.
It includes high-precision laser-cut wooden parts, photoetched brass and copper parts and all the fittings. (Sails not included).
